New Zealand firm Build Tiny has launched a towable home that is designed to combine the convenient mobility of compact towable dwellings with a degree of spaciousness and storage availability that surpasses that of the conventional tiny house.
The 'Kotuku' towable home, which is named after a native bird species, has a steel frame and is situated on a triple-axle trailer, with its power needs taken care of by a conventional RV connection.
One of the standout features of this particular towable home is its kitchen, which is surprisingly spacious given the home's dimensions. Not only does the kitchen have a four-burner stove, oven, fridge, freezer, sink and a microwave, but it also has luxuries such as a breakfast bar and sufficient cabinets and drawers. Elsewhere, the home's bathroom features a small shower and a composting toilet.
Despite only having one bedroom, this towable tiny home offers tons of storage space, while the inclusion of glass doors for the bedroom enables a better visual connection with the outdoor environment.
