When it comes to eco-friendly waste management practices, the TOT garbage can leads by example. Available in two sizes, the receptacle will hopefully encourage the public to separate their litter more responsibly.
Alexander Lotersztain's design relies on 100% recyclable rotomolded plastic to shape an inward-tapering container. It's got a gentle vertical curve to its narrowing cylindrical form that gives it a soft look that's easy on the eyes. Both models of the garbage bin come in black but could be capped in one of several colors. Red might be for general rubbish, blue for recycling and perhaps green for compostable waste.
The TOT garbage can is lightweight with a removable inner trash bin to allow for easy cleaning. The gap between the two walls can be filled with water to increase its mass and stability, allowing it to be used effectively inside or amidst the elements outdoors.
