This chic Toronto office design is rooted in minimalism and modernism, with a number of playful embellishments that nod to creativity and foster practicality for working environments. Previously, the building was a plant for processing fish.
The renovation is completed by local design studio Lebel & Bouliane for Google-owned Sidewalk Labs who is planning an ambitious smart city for Toronto's Harborfront. The Canadian headquarters boast an industrially informed interior with high roofs. The spacious environment enjoys an open-concept layout which is broken up by spaces that are a little bit more privacy-oriented. The interior of the Toronto office design is intentionally left bare and minimalist to allow Sidewalk Labs room to "test its ideas and develop initiatives."
