This NMA Vid Crudely Re-Enacts Toronto Mayor Rob Ford’s Crack S

The world has been buzzing about Toronto mayor Rob Ford’s most recent public scandal and now, NMAWorldEdition TV has virtually re-enacted the debacle using coarse animation.

The video depicts the Toronto mayor hitting a child with a beer bottle, running over a group of people with his car and partying in a nightclub with a Mountie, a Leafs player and a grizzly bear. “Conservative Toronto mayor Rob Ford is known for his eccentric habits,” reads the narration, “such as refusing a personal driver even though he’s got a terrible record, including a DUI.”

NMA TV goes on to report Ford’s recent cocaine scandal, which entailed a video being released showing the Toronto mayor smoking from a crack pipe. To supplement this information, the video shows a goofy animated clip of Ford lighting a pipe, inhaling and then running down the street at the speed of light, Wile. E. Coyote-style.

NMA TV has created an extremely unique way of reporting the news; a way that caricatures the story while remaining informative. The animation, although a bit bizarre, does not fail to get its point across.
