At first, the Toboggan Chair doesn't really resemble the object for which it was named after. Upon closer inspection, however, it becomes apparent that the simple, sweeping lines and bare-boned aesthetic is exactly like a traditional toboggan. It can be sat in a number of ways as well, either using the top portion as a backrest, armrest or a little table for tablets and small laptops like a student's desk.
Created by Antenna Design, which was founded by Masamichi Udagawa and Sigi Moeslinger, the Toboggan Chair is available in two colors: robin's egg blue and dark red. Designed for Knoll, the Toboggan Chair is set to be presented during NeoCon 2012 in Chicago. Moeslinger suggests that the Toboggan Chair can also by used as a unique and small two-level coffee table.
