Singaporean Plant-Based Meat Expansions

Next Gen Foods Raised $100 Million to Expand its Company

'Next Gen Foods,' the Singaporean plant-based meat startup famous for its 'TiNDLE' plant-based chicken, has raised $100 million to expand both its offering of products and its market availability. TiNDLE launched in 2020, and since then has become an international sensation available in countries across Europe and Asia. Now, Next Gen Foods will use this funding to launch a full distribution chain across 50 U.S states.

In addition to this market expansion, Next Gen Foods will also increase its investment in R&D with the goal of creating more plant-based meats that are as successful as TiNDLE. In order to achieve this, Next Gen Foods is currently hiring additional protein scientists and food technology experts. The massive $100 million funding that Next Gen Foods received marks one of the largest investments in plant-based food companies across the industry to date.
