Frequent flyers are familiar with the pain of trying to adjust one's sleep schedule following a trip through a different time zone, which is why one company developed the Timeshifter app -- jet lag-fighting software aimed at efficiently improving one's sleep.
This comprehensive app makes a bespoke plan for each user. The algorithm makes suggestions for each user based on the time of day and time zone. Some of these suggestions include not drinking caffeine for nine hours, spending three hours in the sun and staying up a little past one's bedtime. Timeshifter's CEO Mickey Beyer-Clausen says "we are thrilled to finally put an end to all the jet lag myths and misinformation out there, and instead offer an effective tool that truly addresses the underlying cause of jet lag."
