Leading streaming platform Roku has announced the launch of 'This Old House Makers Channel,' a new channel dedicated to home improvement and craft content. The new launch sees the brand continuing to expand its ever-growing list of licensed content, which has certainly contributed to the television industry's current "cord-cutting" phenomenon.
The new channel will center around two series: 'This Old House' and 'Ask This Old House,' both of which will feature craftspeople showcasing their skills in design, building, metalworking, woodworking, and more. Founded in 1979, This Old House has provided homeowners with a valuable resource for DIY building information.
“‘This Old House’ has provided trusted expertise to generations of homeowners, and we are delighted to continue our tradition of excellence by showcasing the most talented makers in the industry today,” Dan Suratt, VP of ‘This Old House,’ Roku, said in a statement.
