Roku plans to launch a new section that functions similar to "what to watch" and the "featured free" that helps users navigate new content. The same strategy is now applied to sports as a new sports hub makes its way onto the Roku home screen. It also “integrates live and upcoming sports across the Roku platform and introduces a centralized location for sports content.”
It will feature different sports leagues and the company states in a press release, “Sports-related content from supported channels will be available during the season(s) of the sports leagues they air [...] deeper, more convenient integration of sports within other platform features, such as Roku Search, Roku Voice, Sports Zone, and more.”
