The X-37B is a test vehicle that was used by the United States Air Force. Recently the X-37B returned from a record-breaking 780 days in orbit, where it landed at the Kennedy Space Center. The test vehicle is approximately 30 feet long and gives the appearance of a small space shuttle. The X-37B was crafted by Boeing and it was initially launched into orbit on a SpaceX rocket. The test vehicle will remain on the ground, and then it will be launched again in 2020 at the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
The exact details of the test were not released, however, we do know that United States Airforce is looking into unmanned spacecrafts. Developing unmanned spacecraft involves many different systems working in conjunction, and extended test periods help the development unmanned spacecraft.
