Robotic Vacuum Space Expeditions

The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Was Sent into Orbit by the Brand

The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot vacuum was sent into space by the brand in order to showcase the superior technology used inside the home appliance. The expedition consisted of the vacuum being launched into the atmosphere using a large hydrogen balloon that enabled it to reach a height of 120,000 feet high above the Earth. The process enabled the brand to confirm its batteries and motors, when exposed to temperatures below -60-degrees Celsius, would still function as needed.

The expedition of the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot vacuum was done in collaboration with Sent Into Space (SIS) who provide expert guidance and more to the team. The initiative resulted in the Roborock vacuum being the first robot vacuum in space.
