THE TARANTULA timepiece is the latest work by ATOWAK and it is the perfect fusion between exuding watchmaking expertise with artful perspectives. It is detailed by captivating detail in the form of the satellite wandering hour. It rests inside a curved stainless steel tonneau-like 316L case.
The wandering hour is a beautiful way to look at time and moves very gracefully. It tells the passage of time through two aces that rotate inside of the triple-ponged wheel along with numbered accents that rest on the prongs and rotate along their own axis as well. At any point, one of the prongs will point to the minute arc by the lower section, and the second's wheel rotates effortlessly as well -- all of which act like the tarantula's heartbeat.
