The Standard's Stowaway Program is Encouraging Longer Visits

The growing demand for peer-to-peer rentals have forced the hotel industry to adjust its offerings to compete with the likes of Airbnb, which is why the Standard's Stowaway program is enticing guests to stay for a week or more with special services.

Now, guests staying at one of The Standard's five locations -- Downtown L.A., Hollywood, Miami, High Line or East Village -- for more than seven days will be met with "a feeling of home comfort" through a variety of new and luxurious offerings. Some of these services and perks include a personal concierge and prioritized restaurant reservations. In addition, The Standard is attempting to compete with the prices offered through Airbnb by providing guests with a 40% discount on rooms for longer stays.
