The Left Shoe Company has teamed up with Virgin Atlantic to offer its bespoke service to travelers in Virgin's Clubhouse lounge at London's Heathrow airport. The Left Shoe Company is a Finnish company that uses a 3D digital scan to make custom mens shoes. Once all the measurements are complete, customers can then select their shoes style, color, sole and material.

The Left Shoe Company's partnership with Virgin Atlantic takes the bespoke process one step further as customers can now choose to have their name and flight number and destination engraved onto their shoes. What better way to ensure loyal customers and promote your brand then by branding their shoes?! I'd love to see other footwear companies adopt this strategy. Could you imagine being able to get a custom pair of Nikes while you wait for your next flight? I can, and they look pretty awesome.
