On October 17th, Toronto hemp shop The Friendly Stranger will host an 'End of Prohibition' party to celebrate the legalization of recreational cannabis, a moment it's been pushing for since it was established back in 1994.
The party will kick off at 7am with a Community Wake and Bake located in the parking lot behind Hot Black Coffee, where complimentary coffee and breakfast sandwiches will be served. Afterwards, attendees can enjoy some music, make s'mores by a fire, take some celebratory shots in a photo booth, and check out glass blowing demonstrations. Over the course of the day attendees will be able to take part in in-store activities and enjoy promotional sales at The Friendly Stranger as well. To finish things off, an after party will be hosted at Miss Things, however a limited amount of tickets will be available for the event, which will have live music and plenty of free merchandise.
