Over the last few years, consumers have become interested in products for strobing and highlighting to create skin that appears so radiant and healthy, it seems to have a lit-from-within glow. La Prairie set out to develop the relationship between color, light and reflection with an equation to better understand what causes skin to appear dull. As well as boasting light-reflecting golden caviar extract, both the serum and the cream use the illuminating molecule Lumidose to target gray, brown, yellow and red "chromatic disturbances." According to La Prairie's findings, "the less color the skin absorbs, the more luminous it appears."
