The Boring Company recently completed the excavation process for tunnels located in Las Vegas, which the company titled the Convention Center Loop. The two tunnels are located at the Las Vegas Convention Center, in order to create the infrastructure for a loop transit system. The Boring Company initially started the project a year ago, and the system could cost a total of $52 million USD. The transportation system is scheduled to be operational ahead of the 2021 CES show that takes place in Las Vegas.
When the Convention Center Loop is completed it will be able to transport 4,000 people every hour. The company will also look to link the loop to the McCarran International Airport and also Las Vegas Stadium.
