Partially Autonomous Touring EVs

Arcimoto Designs the New Electric Vehicle to Tour Around Vegas

Arcimoto designs a new range of semi-autonomous electric vehicles that are meant to help tourists get around the Las Vegas stripe. The company is planning to kick off a pilot with a focus on the strip, driving those down to their hotel entrance and enjoying the views of the city before reaching their destination.

To make this possible, they work together with Faction, complete with a slew of sensor cameras and radars to detect collision avoidance and help with lane assists. The system is able to drive by itself between the two points along a predetermined route and if there should be any issues that arise en-route then they are prompted to speak to the teleoperator.
