The Tale of the Tetris Game is Being Transformed into a Movie

Apple recently unveils a movie trailer for the film 'Tetris' which has been described as a thriller that tells the origin behind the stacking brick game. “When [Rogers] sets out to bring the game to the world, he enters a dangerous web of lies and corruption behind the Iron Curtain,” Apple unveils.

Notably, the film is based on a true story and follows a Dutch video game salesman and designer known as Henk Rogers. He is played by Taron Egerton and he takes off on his journey to get the game's distribution rights. The movie takes place in the year 1988 and Rogers must travel to the Soviet Union to meet software engineer and the inventor of Tetris Alexet Pajitnov, played by Nikita Efremov.
