SINGER Runs the Second Annual Teach the World to Sew Day

SINGER, the iconic sewing brand celebrating 175 years of empowering creativity and craftsmanship, has announced the return of its second annual Teach the World to Sew Day. This free global event is scheduled for Saturday, September 19th. It is designed to welcome beginners and enthusiasts alike into the world of sewing.

The Teach the World to Sew Day event offers participants the opportunity to join beginner-friendly classes both in person at participating SINGER dealers and select Michaels stores, as well as virtually through the 'Learn with Michaels' portal. This year's featured project is a sunglasses case, a simple yet practical item that provides a tangible sense of accomplishment and encourages further exploration of the craft.

The 2026 edition of Teach the World to Sew Day builds upon the success of the inaugural event, which attracted over 5,000 participants across 17 countries.
