These Tattooed Bananas Require No Ink at All

Fruits can be hardcore, especially when they are the Tattooed Bananas created by Honey.
These delicious fruits are turned into pieces of art by covering their skin with various designs and images that look like the artist took a needle and ink to them. Actually, there is no ink involved whatsoever, Honey just uses a safety pin and stipples an image by creating little holes in the skin of the fruit, allowing air to penetrate through causing the area to turn black due to oxidation. Each “tattoo” is done using painstakingly careful planning and patience as a safety pin does not cover a lot of surface very fast.
Honey created block script words, silhouettes and portraits of famous people such as Twiggy and Jimmy Hendricks in his funky Tattooed Bananas.
