IT Remote Working Strategies

Tata Consultancy Services' Team to Work Exclusively At-Home

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is one of India's largest IT service firm and recently announced it's leveraging the COVID-19 pandemic to transition its business model to a permanent work from home strategy. The company plans to have the vast majority of its global workforce continue working from home post-pandemic using a secure operating model called Secure Borderless Work Spaces (SBWS).

"We don't believe that we need more than 25% of our workforce at our facilities in order to be 100% productive," says TCS's chief operating officer NG Subramaniam. "It helps organizations become more resilient because the fully distributed nature of this model is inherently less risky and better suited for business continuity and agility."
