The Tank Fall/Winter 2014/2015 Photoshoot Displays Drawings

The Tank Magazine Fall/Winter 2014/2015 editorial featuring model Maggie Maurer displays a surreal backdrop. Instead of showcasing Maurer within the outdoors or at an indoor studio, photographer Sohrab Golsorkhi-Ainslle assembled a series of cartoonish drawings.

Stylist Elizabeth Black matched a series of bright blue, yellow and pink geometric drawings with noticeably subdued apparel. Rather than furthering the striking nature of this Tank Magazine production, Black assembled outfits featuring monochromatic shades seen in pieces featuring cream, olive and black colors, choices that resonate with the Fall 2014 season.

Hair expert Louis Ghewy made Maurer's coif blend in seamlessly with the backdrop. Much like the small white squares were pale blonde tresses, enabling Maurer to match the set.
