Real-Time AI Translation Services

T-Mobile Live Translation is Built into the Wireless Network

T-Mobile Live Translation is a first-of-its-kind agentic AI platform built directly into a wireless network, embedding real-time artificial intelligence services into the network itself so that customers can communicate better without needing a new device, subscription, or app download.

Live Translation enables real-time translation during phone calls in over 50 languages, helping to support international travelers as well as people in multilingual households who want to share small moments and better understand important updates from family members.

Beta registration for T-Mobile's Live Translation service recently opened for eligible customers, with access planned for this spring for selected users. As it stands, supported languages include everything from Afrikaans, Bosnian and Catalan to Greek, Māori, as well as Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese.

Instant translation across dozens of languages during live voice calls creates new expectations for seamless cross-lingual interaction in everyday personal and business contexts.
Device-free Service Delivery
Delivering advanced capabilities like speech translation without requiring new apps or devices shifts value capture toward service providers and network operators.
