After having accompanied the designer to the Met Gala, it is no suprise that the T by Alexander Wang Fall 2012 Campaign features buzz female rapper Azealia Banks.
Clad in a 90s-inspired getup, the chic songstress is a vision of minimalist monochromatic perfection. The advertisement features Banks in an elated state as she dances around to her fantastic track from her '1991 EP' entitled Van Vogue.
"I loved working with her on this video for T Fall 2012, and think the collaboration captures a collision of energies," says Alexander Wang of the collaboration. Her edgy appeal and fantastically catchy beats seem to have captured fans and creative professionals alike.
It's a refreshing move to associate the brand with urbane boundary pushing appeal. With his starring model being not only beautiful, but also highly talented, T by Alexander Wang is bound to have a successful marketing initative.
