The SXSW Robot Petting Zoo is a unique interactive experience organized by the Field Innovation Team as a part of the 2015 festival activities.
The SXSW Robot Petting Zoo will take place inside the JW Marriott in downtown Austin and will allow festival goers to peruse the selection, as well as fascinating presentations on a variety of cutting edge robotics technology.
The robot petting zoo will play host to robots such as drones that have flown over disaster zones to gather data, as well as drones that are able to complete 3D printing functions while in the flying. There will also be robots that specialize in forging connections with young children in crises and some primitive examples of robotics technology that is in the early stages.
