Sonic's New Milkshakes are Made with Sweet and Salty Ingredients

Sonic recently unveiled a new lineup of milkshakes made with both sweet and salty ingredients. In recent years, there has been a growing demand for drinks that go beyond a sweet flavor profile. These unconventional milkshakes add a touch of salt to give consumers a new way to enjoy a familiar drink.

The new milkshakes are called the Sweet & Salty Master Blasts and they consist of Sonic's Real Ice Cream hand-mixed with different combinations of sweet and salty ingredients. Some of the flavor combinations are more conventional such as the Salted Caramel Cookie Dough & Chip, while others are slightly more unusual such as the Peanut Butter & Chocolate Potato Chip Cluster.

While Sonic's new milkshake lineup may sound unusual, the company's vice president of product innovation and development Scott Uehlein explains that "Sweet and salty is an iconic combination with timeless popularity, making these unique matches the perfect addition to our celebrated Master Blast menu."
