Segway officially launched the 'SuperScooter GT1P,' an urban commuter e-scooter with an impressive 6,000-watt motor. This motor enables the scooter to achieve a top speed of 43.5 miles per hour on throttle alone. Additionally, the scooter is powered by a 1,008-watt-hour battery, resulting in a range-per-charge of 37.3 miles.
The SuperScooter GT1P is equipped with 11" tires fit for the small bumps and ridges found on city roads, but is not suited for extreme off-roading. This is an adult-targetted scooter with a maximum supported weight of 150kg, or roughly 330lbs.
