Hydration is important year-round and especially so in the hot weather and Smoothie King is hoping to help with this by introducing two new replenishing summer smoothies. The new Hydration Smoothies are both infused with an electrolyte blend and plenty of refreshing, thirst-quenching ingredients.
The Watermelon Hydration Smoothie is made with a base of watermelon juice plus strawberries, bananas and a blend of kiwi and apple juice. There's also the tropical Mango Pineapple Hydration Smoothie, which fuses fruits with apple and passionfruit juice.
As with all of its functional smoothies, Smoothie King created these ones to support a specific purpose—namely supporting people during high-powered summer activities. Notably, the smoothies are said to have 10 times the potassium of leading sports drinks.
