The Subaru TRAX STI by Ken Block Will Have You Wishing for Snow
Holy snow, this beast sure heats up winter! Unveiled at SEMA 2009 was the Subaru TRAX STI by Ken Block, a crazy SUV on snow tracks designed to tear through powder. Instead of being propped on wheels, the body of the Subaru TRAX STI rests on the same type of tracks as snowmobiles do.
"The car floats through powder like it's swimming through whipped cream, yet it's going too fast to seem possible," Sub5zero says of the vehicle designed by Vermont SportsCar. "It carves S turns while never seeming to falter. And then on the packed stuff, it's like a normal STI, power-sliding around snowy bends."
Powersliding in the snow? Where was the Subaru TRAX STI by Ken Block when I lived in Calgary?
