We've seen dozens of ad contests, but this particular contest is exclusively for students. The concept of this College Challenge is that students could win $15,000 for pitching the most out of the box commercial idea.
The company, CommercialPitch.com, is launching a new ad sharing platform. From a contest perspective, the nice thing is that the product is very flexible to the theme of the ad.
Their hope is to attract advertising and creative types, noting that entrants could, "Get discovered by an ad agency."
The site also features a section called "Rate That Pitch", where you can pick the top entries. The catch is that you must rate each spot and name three that you think rock.
So far, the contest has attracted entrants from more than 40 post secondary institutions.
