Rode Launches the Streamer X and Rodecaster Duo Devices
Rode unveils the new Streamer X device which blends two features together -- an audio interface and an external capture card. Users are able to connect their line-level microphones and headsets along with XLR to the Streamer X. Additionally, it is able to capture and stream footage at the quality of 4K and 30 frames per second. Alternatively, it can capture and stream 2K at 60 frames per second.
Other features include its video passthrough at 4K and 60 frames every second or at 2K and 120 frames per second. The front of the device has four custom buttons that can be set up to trigger certain sounds or actions on the computer. The company also unveils its new Rodecoster Duo, which is an interface that brings all of the features together from its Rodevaster Pro II but in a more compact look.
