Stella McCartney and adidas Reinvented the Stan Smith Sneaker

adidas' legendary Stan Smith sneaker has been reinterpreted time and time again in collaboration with various partners and Stella McCartney recently joined with adidas to introduce the first-ever all-vegan leather iteration of the shoe.

While the design of the sneaker remains fairly true to its original form, the use of non-leather materials follows Stella McCartney's commitment to cruelty-free fashion and accessories. In celebration of Stella McCartney's birthday week, the shoes will soon be available online and in stores, featuring a design that replaces the iconic striped sides with Stella's star motif.

As well as putting an emphasis on cruelty-free materials, the collaboration also gives consumers the chance to trade in pre-loved pairs of adidas Stan Smith sneakers to get 10% a new pair of the Stella #StanSmith sneakers, which are available for both men and women.
