80s Era Chocolate Products

St Michael Chocolate Has Been Revived by Marks & Spencer

The St Michael chocolate brand has been revived by Marks & Spencer (M&S) to help the company tap into adult consumer nostalgia for treats from their youth.

The private label chocolate products are headed to the M&S Foodhall in the UK where shoppers will be able to pick up Sparks, Jet, Now! and Coconut Grove bars priced competitively at just £1 each. The bars are each made using Fair Trade milk chocolate and boast packaging aesthetics that nod to the original designs from the 80s. The bars are expected to be a two-fold hit: for being a nostalgic treat and for having a low-cost price point that responds to consumer cost of living concerns.

The St Michael chocolate brand revival comes on the heels of the private label brand relaunching its clothing range in response to its popularity in secondhand shops and marketplaces.
