Spotify Customers Will Now Be Able to Share Songs on Snapchat

Spotify customers will soon have the ability to share music as well as podcasts to peers on Snapchat. The added integration will allow users to share content from Spotify directly to other Snapchat users, or as a part of their Snapchat story. Spotify customers will be able to access the feature similarly to other sharing functions, where Snapchat can be selected from a drop down menu. The relevant album art will be shared alongside any selected music.
The new music sharing feature is the result of the Snapchat Creative Kit, which gives the ability to share various media on the platform. Spotify has added integration across a number of different platforms already including WhatsApp, Messages, Messenger, Twitter and Instagram, as well as Facebook stories.
The new integration would not only help people share music with friends, but also prove useful in helping artists promote their music.
