FuboTV is increasing its sports coverage by adding NHL and MLB coverage to its premium packages. The premium packages offered to consumers are titled FuboTV Extra and Sports Plus. The Sports Plus package will contain 150 live NHL games and MLB Network Strike Zone. Overall, the premium packages will greatly extend the sports coverage available to FuboTV customers. Additionally, this content is commercial-free and is live up to the minute.

The company initially started its business to bring soccer streaming into United States markets. The base package gives customers access to over 100 sports channels, including FOX, NBC, CBS and more for a price of $55.

Extending sports coverage may resonate with United States consumers who follow other sports instead of soccer.
