Historic Court-Based Retreats

Hilton's Sport of Kings Executive Retreat Is Immersive

Hilton Boston Back Bay debuted the Sport of Kings Executive Retreat in partnership with the Tennis & Racquet Club of Boston, offering meetings and conference guests an immersive introduction to Real Tennis, the 800-year-old precursor to modern tennis. The retreat features use of the club's distinctive wooden racquets and hand-stitched balls, and includes guided on-court match play led by the Club's pros. The package connects the hotel's meeting guests with the Club's preserved historic court just steps from the hotel's renovated conference spaces.

Hilton's meeting footprint includes more than 15,000 square feet of newly renovated event space and 401 guest rooms, plus an expanded fitness center. Groups of up to 12 can schedule the teamwork-focused clinic, and larger groups can request customized experiences, professional exhibition matches or private courtside cocktail receptions.

The offering gives corporate groups a hands-on team-building activity that blends history, leadership and strategy in a memorable setting. It also complements the hotel's multimillion-dollar transformation by adding a distinctive local partnership to meeting itineraries.
