'Bustle' recently put together a tutorial for making spooky shooters out of unflavored gelatin and food coloring. When it comes to Halloween parties, the food and drinks can be more important than the decorations. This recipe provides the perfect party favor for the spookiest night of the year.
The recipe involves using unflavored gelatin and condensed milk to make the base of the shooters. The gelatin mixture is then topped with a layer of runny strawberry jam. The strawberry jam can also be used to coat the rim of each shot glass. The jam mimics the look of blood while also adding a touch of sweetness to the boozy gelatin mixture. The end result is a batch of spooky shooters that are fit for any vampire.
