For people who need to wear glasses every day, SpeX glasses aim to remedy a prescription glasses industry that isn't exactly friendly. Most prescription glasses are bank-breakingly expensive, feather-delicate, and difficult to repair, whether it's the frames or the lenses. SpeX glasses solve all these problems through a modular design and durable materials.
SpeX are made from resin castings of 3D-printed original models. The process uses strong and durable Eurathane plastic that outperforms standard wire and metal frames. The plastic glasses are also made without any parts beyond the frames and the arms themselves, allowing for simple repair -- if they even break at all. The SpeX glasses line comes in three frame styles and three temple styles, and the glasses' "infinity hinge" allows any frame to go with any temple.
