As a service, Sparta Science relies on an evidence-based and data-driven method. The technology is developed to "diagnose and treat musculoskeletal health" and is predominantly used by sports teams, although, there are reports of the software's implementation in the military, as well.

Sparta Science fully analyzes the athlete's movement, balance, and stability in a 60-minute scan. The algorithm then references its database to compare the results and "identify strengths and risks of injury." Thereafter, Sparta Science curates a personalized training plan that takes into consideration the person's results from the scan.

In terms of use, Sparta Science is used in the National Football League, predominantly by scouts who are seeking the top draft-eligible players, as well as in football programs in the National Collegiate Atheltic Association.
