This student packaging project is designed for fictional food brand Souvenirs Street. Consisting of condiments, spices and teas, this project blends contemporary and vintage art together in an effort to appeal to a young audience of consumers.
Inspired by ancient Chinese art, Souvenirs Street's labels are each hand-illustrated to feature animated characters and landscape scenes. Contrasting their vintage graphics, these animated motifs are fun and visually vivid.
This bright and eye-catching packaging blends traditional and contemporary graphics in an effort to appeal to a young demographic. While traditional condiments, spices and herbs are often marketed to mature consumer groups, this packaging concept illustrates the marketing power of animated visuals when targeting youth.
