With this new partnership, tired travellers can hail a ride to or from the airport though SouthWest's user-friendly app. This means that consumers can experience the convenience of using a ride-share service, like its in-app payment, tipping and navigation in a manner that's more streamlined for both the driver and the passenger. In addition, this feature allows travellers to see the cost of the trip prior to getting in the car, offering a more transparent service that's sure to appeal to an intergenerational clientele.
Through the new partnership with Lyft, SouthWest is aiming to demonstrate its dedication to improving customer satisfaction.
