Eat Just worked with sous vide foods manufacturer and distributor Cuisine Solutions on its new plant-based sous vide bites, which are prepared using the traditional French method. The protein-rich Just Egg Sous Vide Bites are available in globally inspired varieties that are prepared by vacuum-sealing the food and slow-cooking it in a water bath. Made with a base of mung bean protein, the bites are egg-free and dairy-free, offering nine to 13 grams of protein per serving.
While the American variety shares the taste of roasted potato, herbs and red bell pepper, the India bites are loaded with curry, coconut milk, lemongrass and cruciferous vegetables. In the line of plant-based bites, there are also flavors inspired by Japan and Mexico.
