London is set to be home to a brand new collection of exceptionally high-tech solar-powered bus shelters, first introduced in the Canary Wharf business district, each of which is designed to make it completely possible and reasonable to be able to produce enough electricity for a typical London home for one year. In addition to that, these bus shelters will be more than capable of powering and juicing up signage as well as other transportation-related infrastructure.

These solar-powered bus shelters are set to be able to generate as much as 2,000 kWh of electricity per year, and make use of special solar-photovoltaic technology developed by a UK solar technology company by the name of Polysolar.

Ultimately, these solar-powered bus shelters are set to make public transportation a more eco-friendly affair.
