Sustainable Soap Melting Devices

George Bantum Patents a Soap Melting Device to Reduce Soap Waste

This soap melting device is the brainchild of George Bantum from Douglasville, Georgia, in the United States. The patented machine aims to reduce soap waste for more sustainable usage of the hygiene products. Bantum engineered an assembly device to increase the lifecycle for bars of soap.

The patented technology uses a melting assembly process that transforms slivers of soap into a single bar. Using an oven, the unit is comprised of a chest made with microwave-safe material. Therefore, users can place the chest in a microwave oven without compromising their safety. A lid is hinged to the chest for an easy-to-use design. Equipped with a sliding drawer and a removable class box, the unit compresses soap slivers as it heats up.
