To mark the end of the annual Snowbombing Festival 2017 at the Mayrhofen ski resort in Austria, Sony set up an eye-catching snowboarding stunt with the help of pro snowboarders Steve Gruber and Chris Kröll. As well as indicating the close of the slopes, the stunt served as a means of showing off the newest speaker from Sony.
For their ride down the slopes in the dark, the pair was outfitted with glowing LED suits and Sony's ultra-portable new XB40 EXTRA BASS wireless speakers, truly demonstrating the freedom that the device allows, the power and quality of its sound, as well as the speaker's own flashing party lights.
While it is not uncommon for snowboarders to dress up in costumes to mark the end of a season, this snowboarding stunt puts a fun twist on the concept.
