John Maeda Creates Reebok Timetanium

John Maeda, the artist-mathematician known for forging art with the principles of mathematics, teamed up with Reebok to come up with the Reebok Timetanium.

The exterior design of Timetanium was developed without the aid of the readily available design softwares. Instead, the graphics of the sneakers was created through Maeda's original mathematic algorithms and computer codes.

To best appreciate the the sneakers, one has to check out their interior linings which have the original, handwritten calculations of Maeda.

Only 100 pieces of the limited edition Reebok Timetanium will be released on November 13 through Reebok Custom Page.
