AIREI and ASICS Join Forces on the GEL-Quantum Kinetic

AIREI works in collaboration with ASICS to create a sophisticated and artful approach to the GEL-Quantum Kinetic sneaker model. The shoes are a limited-edition design that is exclusively launched at Dover Street Market. The silhouette is made by hand in a way that differentiates itself from typical sneakers.

The new ASICS silhouette is wrapped in a khadi gauze, which is a special Indian fabric: Khadi. This is essentially an organic fiber that is handspun and woven without having to rely on electricity. AIREI is notably a part of the Dover Street Market incubation program. It often works with materials such as khadi along with other human-touch materials that are integrated into its ready to wear collections.
