Oberto's Newest Product Revamps a Classic Snack for Hiking

Trail mix is known as an incredibly healthy snack for hiking, but Oberto is looking to beef up this simple snack with its newest product, trail mix with jerky. The three new Oberto snacks come in flavors like Original Beef, Spicy Sweet Beef and Teriyaki Chicken, all of which come in small portable packets that are rich in protein.
To announce the arrival of this new product in an impactful way, Oberto's CEO Tom Hernquist, took to a real trail and climbed 14,000 feet to launch the new Trail Mix With Jerky from Mount Rainier.
As many consumers believe that they are not getting enough protein from their day-to-day diets, familiar snack foods are getting a boost from protein with the addition of pieces of meat.
