The Sony Smartwatch 3 wearable device is noteworthy in that it takes a significantly different approach to the smartwatch when compared to rivels like Motorola, LG and Asus to name but a few. The SmartWatch 2 eschews traditional timepiece design cues in favor of a more modern look.
The device runs on Google's Android Wear wearable tech platform. It has a smooth, elegant and highly responsive user interface that is extremely easy to use. The device is lightweight and compact, so it doesn't take up too much real estate on your wrist.
One very unique aspect of the Sony Smartwatch 3 is the fact that it doesn't use the standard 22 millimeter strap, but instead has the rubber strap extend around the display and encompass it. The strap can be changed by simply popping the body of the watch out of the band and into another band.
